I do love a chinwag with Di Landy, co-founder of Mana Wāhine Kōrero (Sovereign Women Speak). The previous one we had was ten months ago, a time distance I hope to lessen going forward.
Di is completely candid when talking about gender ideology bollox, and does not spare anyone’s feelings about what it is doing to children. We also talk about language – both te reo Māori (the Māori language) and women’s language – and how the loss of it is almost like a physical pain. It’s noted how the Midwifery Council of New Zealand is hurting women in this exact way¹. And we also speak about the older Māori woman who got manhandled out of a supermarket for wearing a t-shirt with the words “Men are not women, even if you squint” on it.
All this and a bit more here in the YouTube link below. Be careful, though – it can be a bit ‘wild’ in there 😊 There are links to the things we discuss in the description below the video on YouTube.
Di and Katrina chat about Māori and women's language, midwifery, & the t-shirt debacle here in in NZ (youtube.com)
