Transactivists tell us that our eyes can't distinguish between women and men, and then a lawyer indicates a victim of sexual assault should have used his eyes to do that.
Then there’s the pivot to genitals don’t determine sex anyway. But, say the same people, some people need their genitals surgically altered to a simulacrum of the opposite sex. Look, I have a piece of paper, I have a vagina, I’m a woman, say men. But I don’t need the surgery or paper because I always was a woman because I say so, say the same men.
I can clock a man at a thousand paces. That's because women have instinctual wariness of strange men. Those women who have been assaulted by men are even more wary.
But women who have experience with the worst of the worst men are not the only ones who can easily distinguish between males and females. I always say, if you want to know if a “transwomen” is an actual women, ask a lesbian. We're same-sex attracted, not same gender attracted. Boobs on a male chest might make men's eyes light up, but they do nothing for me.
BDM Act NZ (no not bondage et al) having in its terms of reference (oh the irony) that there is not a way of identifying someone's sex ( I paraphrase) is utter nonsense and makes the legislators who wrote the amendment to insert choosing one's sex for payment of a nominal price to alter a document (one formerly instituted to identify one as one or other sex) to fit one's false fetish would be laughable if not for the teagic consequences. Consequences in USA and in NZ are erosion of women's sex based rights, males put into women's prisons (since 2015...Jan Logie's initiative)and clowns in all our circuses.
They love to dance. First, "trans" is about *gender*, not *sex*! But conveniently it's actually about sex when they want it to be! It's a social construct, but at the same time it's an innate feeling that I've had since I was born!
It's fucking retarded, is what it is. It's a fraud, from start to finish. They know it, we know it, and they know that we know it. It's time to end the whole sad charade.
And then you get the situations where babies have died because trans "men" who don't know they are pregnant turn up to emergency departments with "intermittent stomach pain". If your medical records state "male" and you present with a beard, a beer belly appearance and a male name, who's going to risk asking, "might you be pregnant"?
Great piece and absolutely Katrina, the whole lot of them, including the liars…sorry, people who defend them, are all insane enough to think that we won’t notice that they’re insane.
She's a legend - it will be gruelling. From the reports and summaries I've read and heard of the judgment, I'd be surprised if she didn't win her appeal. That doesn't mean she will, of course, but in theory it's hard to see how it wouldn't get turned on its head.
Going from strength to strength Katrina...and go you for reviving 'dingbat'.
Others here have made points I would've.
Am very worried for Sal Grover & Kirralie SMith over the pond...while I regard many jurisdictions as bonkers enough, Oz seems to be utterly lost. Not nearly enough sceptical journos there so until recently it all flew under the radar & public consciousness-raising was scant. In Straya!
As for this particular case in some ways I put it in the 'stuff I now regret' basket & I don't have much sympathy for 'the deceived'.
This is a great example of sex mimicry in practice, in which the term “mimicry” is quite clarifying.
The man mimicked being female in order to commit sexual deception. In this case they deceived another man into having sex with a man against their will.
It is the same as deceiving others into belief that a sex mimic is female to allow male trespass.
The deceit abrogates the right of female self-assembly.
The deceit erodes the presumption of safety through presence of only those who have shared female experience.

If even the smallest amount of sense was a prerequisite for trans ideology, it simply wouldn’t exist.

Yes - it's insane!
Hi Katrina
Sandie is going to appeal 😀

Yes the judgment sounds bonkers. Go, Sandie!

Australia is bonkers, all right! A prime example of the damage that putting the word ‘gender’ into legislation will cause.
