I checked 4 sources including copies of the relevant legislation.
The final round of funding before it finished in 2023 may have paid for some journos up to 2026. I don't know if all the initial recipients got this, or not, but I've changed the text to be a bit clearer, anyway. Cheers.

I thought the PIJF "goes" till 2026. Did the Labour Party not renew it in 2023 before they lost??
