The passing of the sex self-ID law here in New Zealand on 15 June this year, clarified that service providers are not obligated to include men who say they’re women in female spaces.
Thank you Katrina for your work on this issue. Been loving reading all your articles. You are inspiring me to become "A B'Older Woman'! despite the pushback from my daughters.
I’ve only heard of one incident, but I’m not keeping tabs on it. We don’t want it to turn into a matter of concern only if sufficient numbers of TIMs turn up to make it a problem. The only concern is that males should never be allowed access to female spaces, no matter what.
It’s probably futile right now, but one day what I’m doing will count, I’m sure of that. It may not be due to my actions directly, but they’ll contribute.
Sometimes, that's the most we can do at the time. Eventually, others will come along and build on it. Different times and different people can often mean different outcomes.
And in today's Press we have the 'people with cervixes' in a piece about cervical smears. Oddly they refer to the 'women's health lecturer' & the 'Fed of Women's Health' committee or some such...clues there!

Thank you, Catherine. Go for being b’older - it does wonders for your self-esteem - lol!
Fair. Do we know if transwomen are attending?

Good on you for trying to keep them honest, the CCC I mean. It's not a local pool for me so can't offer any 'eyes on the ground.'

No, never futile. In my own small way I try to hold people to account too...everyone pulling together is never futile.
...not to mention that 'thorn in the side', being a damnable nuisance and generally making life much harder for those who wish to curb women's rights.
