Thank you! I can't thank you enough for standing for women girls, mothers and babies. I wish I had the courage to standup for this cause public but realistically, I would end up in a similar situation to the lady at the IRD.... I cannot believe this injustice against females is happening .. it's sickening.

I'd be happy to tell your story about the culture of fear generated in your workplace, and elsewhere, from DEI, if you like. You and your workplace could remain anonymous. No pressure, of course, but direct message me anytime both now and in the future if you'd like to do this :-)

Thanks Katrina. At this point I have much to loose that is tied up in this non sense! I'm hoping I can jump on board to stand up freely soon once I've finished a project I'm doing... I'm already speaking up about this in my personal life but luckily all of my nearest and dearest agree !

Thanks for the update, however, I couldn't stop thinking....

Unique needs NO OTHER qualifiers. I'm sorry. It either IS one of a kind, or it isn't.

My internal editor was shouting.

On the news side of this story, I'm aghast at the sheer cuntery of the Midwives and their nonbinary crywanking captured slagheaps.

Haha - you’re right. Correction noted :-)

Thank you to all involved. I wrote a submission to Midwifery re their mistaken beliefs and suggesting promoting science, women, baby health and no acknowledgement ...no surprise. My Cairn Vimes, on behalf of all dogs, gets your apology and accepts same. He is sitting quietly by waiting for clement weather to go inspect the probity of his neighbourhood!

Please thank Vimes for his gracious acceptance :-)

Great stuff! I can't believe they removed the words woman and baby. I hope the petition can turn things around.

How come you stopped using WordPress.com? Did they object to you posting about this topic?

Unfortunately, Wordpress is woke, and it would only be a matter of time before someone reported me to them if I wrote this frequently about gender ideology on there as I do on Substack. I got my account on Medium “permanently suspended” for that reason. I decided to keep Wordpress just for writing about other things in my life, but I find that much of what I do is centred around pushing back against gender ideology now - lol! However, your comment is a good nudge to look outside that a bit more, and take note of and write about other things, too. I very much enjoy your blogs from Scotland, and following what you and your family does, and the accompanying photos :-) It’s good to read the occasional push back on gender ideology nonsense from you, as well. Knowing who it’s safe to express oneself with about this is good :-)

Ah ok. I just wondered if something had happened making you unable to post this content there. I'm not sure what their approach would be in this case and I'd be disappointed if you weren't allowed to write about it on WordPress.com but completely understand why you'd want to keep it separate anyway.

Thank you. And as usual this all flies under the radar about as close to the 'turf' as it could get without scaping its tum. Prediction going forward Katrina?

The Midwifery Council will fight tooth and nail to protect their revised Scope, and we can only do the same in order to get it re-written in plain language which liberally includes the words mother, baby, and woman. The Council, of course, have more money and pet public servants than we do, but we can still fight them. More will be said about what individuals can do in the usual online groups in due course. I found out after publishing this that the Midwifery Council actually intended presenting the revised Scope to Parliament in early April, anyway, so they may not have discovered a sudden burst of speed to do it at the same time as the petition after all. It’s hard to know, though, considering they don’t appear to have been too concerned about keeping to a timeline in the past.

TERF has strange origins the first to write on it was a Catholic idealog rather than the radical feminist that she claims that she is (of course it’s possible to be both but Viv most certainly is not)

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/nov/29/im-credited-with-having-coined-the-acronym-terf-heres-how-it-happened

And the article that it first appeared in did not have it there on its first versions. It was added in 2 days later. An afterthought. Somewhat mercenary in my view, ie Viv was paid to add it in. Catholic scholars would also be familiar with its similarity to the Hebrew טֶרֶף which means ‘prey’ I figure.

As would the Jewish billionaires in the Pharmaceutical industry who have been funding the transgender nonsense.

Well, as long as nothing can ever be proved about its origins, we can say anything - lol!

It’s also a crude term for anal sex common in California & elsewhere (ie Surf & Turf).
