New Zealand’s 2023 Census is hellbent on prioritising the concept of gender over biological sex. That something that is meant to be based in numeric accuracy has been reduced to ideology and feelings is frightening and dangerous. Any money spent on any services that where sex is a factor are going to be affected by the results of this census. And since censuses are used to predict the future, here's one from me: the losers are going to be women. The real ones, not the would-be ones.
