Excellent summary Katrina, thank you for all your hard work. Just after Laurel Hubbard was awarded his Woman of the Year sporting award from the University of Otago, I received a scholarship fundraising fancy printed solicitation from them. I emailed at least ten addresses to say that while a university that contains a medical school cannot tell the difference between a man and a woman, I would not be donating to any of their causes, however worthy. I had not a single reply from anyone at the University.

And in regard to the spineless NZCOM who have bowed to the bullies who call themselves the 'rainbow midwives', I suspect the situation here is not much different from that in the UK. According to this source https://with-woman.org/2023/01/04/open-letter-pause-midwifery-training-based-on-flawed-research/#more-344, "The current estimate of prevalence of TNB maternity service users is at most 1 in 2000, therefore most midwives will not care for a trans or non-binary person during their career." And of the approximately 60,000 births/year in NZ about six of these will be to women who identify as something else. So, these women are being catered to at the expense of thousands of truly vulnerable women having babies every year.

It’s hard to fathom why so many women are colluding in their own demise - I can only surmise that women tend to be more easily duped by a ‘sad’ story, especially if it’s about ‘vulnerable’ men or children, and they can’t see past the thrill of being a saviour. They’re being groomed by clever shysters into abandoning boundaries, which is made to sound like being a compassionate heroine, and predators are over the moon. Good on you for taking the time to reply to Otago Uni about their request for donations. They’re fools, and I reckon their lack of response shows that at least some of them know it at heart, because they have no answer.

Women are socialised from birth to "be kind" to others and to prioritise the wants and desires of others, even at the expense of their own wellbeing. It's a slippery slope situation because people don't think a thought through to the end. "Being kind" to unhappy kids going through normal adolescence by supporting them to get bodily mutilation 'treatments' eventually leads to fully intact males sitting in women's changing rooms with visible erections as they watch girls in a state of undress. Once you prevent safeguarding in one area, you remove the safety for everyone.

Women's naturally higher empathy is easily exploited, as socialising us to 'be kind' shows. That's one of the great things about getting older - we have less easily exploitable empathy - lol! Here's a fabulous video to watch about psychopathy, especially in men. It's very long, and I'm still watching it in chunks, but it's very illuminating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwgoIx7vPTs&t=6626s

Terrific summary, Katrina. As you say, for such a small country, it’s a longer list than you’d expect. Here’s to opening more eyes and raising awareness in 2023.

The Left's approach to this issue could be characterised as being 'kind' to be cruel. As such, it's the end of the Left for so many of us long term lefties, which is depressing, to put it mildly, as there is no political alternative. But there is hope in the truth keepers and speakers like you. So thank you, and friends, for this vital record keeping. Hope is that thing with wings...

Thank you. I didn't really know where I was going when I started this Substack account, I only knew that I wanted to start writing about stuff that was happening here in New Zealand. I like the term 'record keeping', though :-)

thank you so much for this.

Rex Landy's is not the first example. I have had two complaints from Cate Spice that have resulted in visits by police to my door, both in 2021. The second visit I was told that Spice would be taken to task for wasting police time and I have not heard anything since. Spice trawls my substack with his various aliases making threats too btw.

He's a vile piece of work. He stalks me, too. He seeps through the cracks here and there, but I just block him immediately now, and anyone else who outs themselves as a TRA (who might be him under one of his ten million aliases). I don't engage with them at all, because all they want to do is goad us into making comments they can screenshot and spread around social media like they're the ones getting indiscriminately hunted and hated on, instead of the opposite.

Sounds like Rex had the same guy complaining about her. His complaint about me was pretty ridiculous btw, Rex may like to get in contact as I do have the substance of that complaint.

I'll pass this onto her.
