In line with most other political parties here in New Zealand, the National Party won’t take a stand on protecting women’s and girls’ right to single-sex spaces and sports.
It's also awkward that sex segregated toilets are being replaced by single cubical toilets - such as at Te Papa. Very awkward waiting to use the loo with men there... they all look awkward as well. Men and women. Like their privacy from each othee when going to a public restroom.. I've also heard hospitals are starting to do this too.
At Hamilton Pak n Sav the toilets are not in a cubicle but two toilets that have a full door but one sink and paper towel dispenser. When do women think of the Pak n Sav system?
Women want communal single-sex toilets for both women and men, and at least one unisex multi-use toilet for those who prefer to use that for any reason at all. Businesses and organisations are jumping on the 'inclusive' bandwagon as a way to justify being cheapskates about the facilities they provide.

It's appalling that our basic humanity isn't taken into account, only ideology is.

Scary times when MSM Media censor everyone in NZ from this very important discussion.Thankyou; Ro is a star a shining light here in NZ.
Katrina. What do you think of Act's stance on women's rights in regards trans issues?
ACT have a stance?
Yes. They believe trans should not compete against real women sport while National believe in letting each sport decide
That's fairly recent, isn't it? I think I did hear that they'd finally come out with something.
See Nicole McKee's speeches during the Integrity Sport bill passed this week under urgency.
Thanks - I will. I've heard 'chatter' about it, but haven't yet looked into it. However, I'll now do that asap.
