Great to have all the letters in one article. Thanks heaps Katrina. I hope this puts the wind up these deniers of reality.

Timely....good for Mr Franks,(a moral man of sense)accepting Inflection point's instructions to legitimately point out the heinous damage done by the prescribing of puberty blockers(cancer drugs e.g. intended for treating prostate cancers)that do not just 'halt' or hold up puberty for a while, but damage the body's systems and interfere with maturation.

Thanks so much Katrina

It’s important to have accurate up to date info about who is standing up and pushing back in a significant way in our nation.

I have long lamented the seeming dismissal of international facts and research regarding the massive damage being recorded in several countries to young people .

So very grateful to those leading the charge and sending warning letters - with an understanding that we- the majority of NZers want our children n grandchildren protected - and hold our government accountable for any harm done to them !!

Hope is arising .

Interesting. Clinical 'injuries' come under medical misadventure ACC cover. Used to be a tight parameter, couldn't just be damage that came under the usual risks of surgery/treatment, had to be a demonstrable catastrophic event that clinicians agreed was outside the usual scope of risk. Since I worked there this may've loosened. Litigation warnings such as these are timely as ACC cover doesn't dispense with all legal risk, afaik, & as warned here.

I don't think a letter like this would have carried much weight a year or two ago, but with the increasing amount of information internationally available about the harms of 'gender affirming care', I'm reading it as now being reckless or negligent not to know about it, and be cautious.

This is a really useful summary. I especially like the letter to PATHA. Their being immune to evidence and writing off the Cass Review within days of its publication would be part of the evidence that a case could call on. As well as their president promoting the idea of increased suicide at the Tavistock when pubety blockers were withdrawn - a claim which was utterly false and was found to be so by a thorough examination of the evidence.

Yes, I don’t know who got their head around how that could tie in with exemplary damages, but well done them. And thank you to Inflection Point for forking out what it cost to do this. Btw, Yvonne van Dongen has apparently recently agreed to be Inflection Point’s spokesperson, so further info about them and what they do will probably be written by her on her Substack.
