'Uterus havers' excludes some women in a dismissive and callous kind of way, while younger girls with said apparatus are not capable of pregnancy yet, yet they are 'uterus havers'. I guess it's not important for doctors to use accurate terminology if it might potentially offend a man, while it is important to rush to embrace such terminology when it can be sure to offend some women. 🤔

And she, a seemingly intelligent woman, in the very same sentence as calling a woman a uterus haver, called a boy a male, and appeared completely unaware of the difference in respect she accorded each.

Absolutely astonishing! Total nonsensical rubbish that you would not expect from any mature person, let alone one with the title “Dr”. One almost despairs of our country if people like this are in responsible positions in society.

Any socalled 'professional' involved in 'reproductuve health' should respect those of us who reproduce...women all...men are off to the side ( smoking probably) after their teeny input.

But seriously, what an ignorant woman she has shown herself to be, biased, uninformed, cannot write a coherent submission.

This kind of nut-baggery has happened a fair few times in history, where smart people catch ideology (it’s transmissible) and then get power. The pattern is the same each time and it doesn’t end well.

• The Puritan Revolution in England and America brought us Oliver Cromwell and the Salem witch trials.

• The Jacobins in the French Revolution brought us enthusiastic use of the guillotine (and ended up giving it a go themselves).

• Marxist-Leninist Communism brought us the gulags and the holodomor.

• The Maoist Cultural Revolution starved tens of millions.

The same type of people get ideology each time, stumble into power and then it is all on for man and beast. They are very intelligent and use their intelligence to defend their idiocy, without being able to see how stupid it all is and even while reality is showing them this to their faces.

Fortunately we are a liberal democracy here in NZ, voting counts, and the loonies are in the minority. They will probably learn better, after they keep on losing elections, but it will take a while. Meantime bring on the conversation of the Treaty principles Bill.

The scary thing is that the teachings and opinions of these intelligentsia are received by many as proven reality - the ultimate authority. That alone means we have a huge challenge on our hands. But I have hope that truth will prevail in the end.

Take a look at the eyes, in the above photo of Dr Lambert - the eyes of a true believer rather than a careful thinker? So perhaps not feigned but rather, drunk on righteous activism? "

“The surest way to work up a crusade in favor of some good cause is to promise people they will have a chance of maltreating someone. To be able to destroy with good conscience, to be able to behave badly and call your bad behavior 'righteous indignation' — this is the height of psychological luxury, the most delicious of moral treats.”

It beggars belief and I don’t get it. Disgrace to women and devoid of any knowledge of history. Kate Shephard (sorry for spelling) would be rolling in her grave. Who voted these women into this committee? Get rid of them!

If Dr Lambert's aim is to demonstrate that you can be a complete moron and still graduate as a doctor, she has accomplished her mission splendidly. "Adding more ink" just subtracts all the women, while leaving the men untouched. https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/the-problem-with-adding-more-ink

She has indeed! "Adding more ink" is a good term for the convoluted way people say woman, without saying 'woman'.

She’s just on the gravy train with the rest of them. I’m just thinking, what are we calling men these days “ Men with Testes” perhaps, I haven’t seen any reference to men and their body parts. I can’t stand to see pronouns in bio’s and email sig, it just signals to me straight away the person is captured, stupid, ignorant and woke!! I received one the other day it said she/they, how bloody stupid. When you work in education it’s all you see. I can’t wait for the day for this BS to disappear. Has anyone got any names for men we can start using I’m keen to give them a go!!!!

Strangely, there just doesn't seem to be as much of an appetite to disrespect men in the same way - oh, I mean use 'inclusive' language for men, too.

The Midwifery Council and the college of Midwives appear to have also fallen for the erasure of any words that relate only to xx women. Especially the word woman!
