Today in Auckland, New Zealand, we experienced mob violence that was New York level. I never thought I’d see that here in New Zealand, but today I did. Kellie-Jay Keen of Standing for Women UK has been touring Australia and New Zealand with her ‘Let Women Speak’

You are so brave - thank you for at least trying! ❤
I'm so glad you made it out alive; I hope all the women are safe.
The whole world is watching, and from here, New Zealand looks like a disgusting woman-hating hell-hole; with a tight-knit collusion of Tyrannical Government, Media, and Police.
Your PM has embarrassed his entire country, and we will all #BoycottNewZealand in our travels and exports until women who say No there, can do so safely.

We’re just waking up in the UK. I saw this during the night and was appalled. Across the other side of the world we generally see NZ as a beautiful, peaceful country, a shining beacon in the early days of Covid, and with the most enviable rugby team in the world. It was all lies wasn’t it? I cried for the women of NZ and I’m appalled at the hate and misogyny festering there. It’s so sad. Don’t give up, we are making small waves on Terf Island, the tide in turning here, and the US, you’ll get there.

I was there too and corroborate your observation that there were no police. Contrasting the policing strategy in Australian cities (excluding Hobart) where different groups were separated by police cordons, this looked like a state sanctioned invitation to attack KJK and the women who support her.

I am so shocked by these scenes from Auckland but equally shocked by the hopelessness of the NZ Police, the failure of politicians to condemn the behaviour of violent TRAs, the failure of the media to report the voices of women who were there. They just kicked an own goal. Women everywhere can see why female-only spaces are necessary.

The writing was on the wall for NZ when the former female PM awarded a mediocre middle aged male weight lifter athlete of the year because he self IDs as a woman. He replaced a young indigenous woman on the Olympic team He didn’t even win. They totally ignored women competitors in other Olympic events who actually medaled.

I was born in New Zealand. Grew up in Scotland, returned to New Zealand for my teenage years and have eventually settled in England with my husband and 2 kids.
I thought I was angry with Scotland(mainly the SNP politicians )for the way they are trying to erase woman’s rights! However this am in the UK I am utterly horrified, ashamed and embarrassed to be a kiwi. That beautiful country of mine, so open and culturally diverse. Yet so anti woman. What happened New Zealand? What happened to the 1st country who gave woman the right to vote? What made you change your mind and take away all those rights in the year 2023?? How dare a group of mostly ageing woman gather together to have a chin wag! How dare they! You sure showed them huh! 💔🤬😪

Feral is an understatement! I watched in horror from across the ditch. I feared for the safety of every women there. I still can’t believe the lack of action from the police. It wasn’t as if they didn’t know what to expect.

Thank you for your bravery and so so sorry for what you and the women of New Zealand face. Hopefully this horrendous incident will shine a light on captured New Zealand and wake the world up to how dangerous this movement is. Solidarity from the UK.

God bless all of you. I am so ashamed of what our wonderful country has become. Let's get our lives back to reality and give our best to make it the best again.

this is a sad day for new zealand. not just for women and children but for men too. there is no such thing as transition. just confused people pretending to be something they can never be. they can re draw the map but it doesn't change the land.
