Thanks Katrina. Fascinating discussion and what a perfect example of how ideologues are using ‘inclusivity’ and Critical Theory as a cover for embedding Queer Theory everywhere. This was always the intention… hide behind the glitter and rainbows in order to overturn the basis of a stable and fair society.

Good luck from Terf island.

Woman and mother of two, aged 35 (telling the world she was a brave, breastless, transman) died recently in U.S. killed by liver failure allied to taking testosterone and having diabetes.

Expand full comment

Yeah, that worked out well.

She had to fly interstate to get breastmilk...she was also a smoker...all indicators the doctors involved should have seen, along with her diabetes, as huge reasons not to follow through on her delusional desires.

But heaven forfend that she was denied her delusion.

Thanks for another excellent update. Katrina.

It's getting quite complex for those like me outside NZ ( and maybe for some people in NZ!!) so at some stage a summary of all the issues and where it has got to would be very useful ( 😊 no pressure)

Have cross posted

I’ve done a summary for the last couple of years, and will do another one early next year for 2024. I can post the previous years’ ones here in a wee while. I’m just about to head off for a few days, so can do it at some stage after I get to my destination :-)

That will be very useful , thanks Katrina.

Hope you are having a bit of a break

Hi Dusty, here are the 2023 and 2022 round ups of gender ideology bollox from those years, garnered from the blogs on my Substack, and a few other places. I only started writing my blog in late 2022, to start keeping a record, and I ended up writing more than I ever thought I would :-)

There’s a lot of reading in the round ups, but a scan of them should give you a bit of an idea of the TQ+ infiltration going on here in NZ.

Enjoy. My wife and I visited NZ once. We loved it.

One thing that stands out is a long walk to the Tupapakurua Waterfall. Amazing!

It's especially the use of Maori that makes it complex for us non-Kiwis. Here on Terf Island the main Anglo-Saxon word us Terfs employ is 'F***' often combined with 'off' 😎

We like that one, too - lol!

Just to elaborate I especially mean the nuances between different Maori words and then Sarah mentions one supposed Maori word that is virtually made up it appears

Yes, they have to be used in the right context, otherwise they don’t make sense.

There's a strong possibility that the latest version of the Midwifery Council's Scope of Practice will go to public consultation again. If this happens, it will make it easier for you to refine your concerns to what is and isn't in the Scope, so it may be an option to wait until then.

I'm not sure what you mean about "... a co-relation to principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in terms of respecting the prime place of women giving birth". I don't think the Treaty or the Principles refer to that even obliquely. Perhaps I've misunderstood you, though.
